In-depth knowledge of archaeology and the historical culture of everyday life and material culture, gained through the study of prehistory and early history, archaeology, art history and medieval studies, as well as further studies and academic research.
Knowledge transfer
Practical experience in bringing history to life at international museums. Organising living history events in museums.
Historical martial arts
Historical fencing (HEMA) based on transcribed contemporary sources, using the weapons of the period (sword and shield, lance, dagger).
LIVING HISTORY
Direct and engaging knowledge transfer through historical Reenactment
A scientifically accurate depiction of a typical warrior from the Nordic Bronze Age
Presentation, explanation and demonstration of museum-quality replicas of everyday objects, weapons and textiles from the Bronze Age, based on archaeological finds.
Educational activities at museum events and in open-air museums

State Museum of Prehistory:
Filming of a documentary series* on Bronze Age combat techniques and the use of Bronze Age weapons, featuring the Director of the State Museum, Prof. Dr Harald Meller, and the international sword-fighting expert Roland Warzecha.
